We arrived with the warmest welcome by the staff. Our luggage was taken care of while we checked in with welcome drinks and warm towels. The facility was clean! Our rooms were average size (what you would expect at the heart of the city) with a large comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. It was all we needed since most of the time we were out exploring the city. The hotel is in really good location. We walked everywhere with my elderly parents without problems. The breakfast was excellent, fresh squeezed orange juice and excellent pho broth were my staples! They also had a good pastry and American breakfast option for my fiancee and step dad. The rooftop with the pool was a highlight! We went up and had drinks and played card games every night! My mother enjoyed pictures from the rooftop. At one point, we needed to use the conference room at 11pm for work and this was no problem at all for the hotel. They were kind enough to reserve the room for my fiancee. When we called the front desk to asked about the train schedule or help with setting up activities or travel arrangement, they were very helpful and the information they provided was very accurate. They spoke both English and Vietnamese very accurately so communication was effortless. The manager, Mr. Jacky Hoang was always available to help us. He made sure we had everything we needed. He seemed kind to his staff and a great manager to the hotel. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend staying at the hotel

The customer service from Ms. Anna, Dong, Patrick, Rachel, May, Happy, the breakfast staff, bell boys, maintenance, housekeeping, and spa staff is excellent. They are very helpful, respectful, patient, and accommodating. The breakfast food has a good selection and great view from the 11th floor. The half-day tours (I encourage you to do both morning and afternoon tours if you can and ask for the guide, Chuong Lee) and food tour (better to do on a week day, ask for Ken, insta - hanoilocalguide) were so fun and informative. The hotel’s location is near the lake (~5-8 mins walk), cafes (~2-3 mins walk), food and a short walk (~12-18 mins) from where the night market takes place on Friday-Sunday. Perfect place to see a lot in a short time within walking or short ride distance around the old quarter. I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you and we wish you well, Splendid Premium Hotel staff!

Service at the hotel was outstanding. We were well looked after by Miss Anna, Miss Kate and Mr Happy! Miss Anna also supported us with tour bookings and airport transfers and we had laundry done throughout our two week trip. In total, we stayed at the Splendid on three separate occasions whilst we took multi-day trips to other parts of Vietnam. Splendid were happy to look after our luggage for us so we only had to carry what we needed which was so helpful. Breakfast was also great!

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful for our whole stay. From check in to check out. Our room was very clean and the location was perfect. Close to many restaurants and shops. Walking distance to everything. The breakfast buffet was good but could include slightly more variety. Mr Dong was so helpful. He organised our taxi to the airport and recommended lots to us. I could not recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Travelling as a family with two older teenagers. Wonderful and very accommodating staff with special thanks to Mr.Dong, Mr.Happy, miss Rachel and miss May. They catered to all our needs and when we went for a two night trip they offered to store most of our luggage while we were away. Used the spa as well and as the spa itself is being renovated we got the treatments in our room. The breakfast has many options and we could all find something we loved.

The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful - Jacky and the team were happy to answer any questions, booked me into an excellent local street food tour, and arranged airport transfers. The drink & fruit on arrival was really appreciated! The location was excellent - right by the lake and on the edge of the really hectic alleyways of the Old Quarter. I was there over new years and had a great time at the rooftop celebration - excellent views of the lake & fireworks!

What made this hotel amazing was the staff. The best staff we encountered in a five week tour of Asia. Spent six nights here, including NYE at the rooftop bar, which the staff made incredibly fun. We will treasure these memories for a long time. Everyone went out of their way to make sure you were happy. The manager Jacky was brilliant, he really made an extra effort to ensure our stay was the best. Such a courteous host and very kind person. Helped us book tours, taxis and much more. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was really nice with a good selection of food each morning. The location of the hotel was ideal as right in the old quarter and walking distance to everything.

Really convenient location, can see the lake from the breakfast restaurant and you’re there within a minutes walk! (Top tip the road around the lake is closed off to cars on the weekends so pedestrians only which is lovely) we arrived silly early (pre 6am) and the staff were incredibly accommodating, helping us to get checked in early and providing us breakfast that morning too. Organised our airport taxi through them which worked very well. Really friendly chatting to us about where to visit on our visit.
